Changed My Mind

"Only the wisest and the stupidest of men never change." This quote is attributed to Confucius.

I guess there are two ends of the spectrum: the wise and the stupid.

The wise don't necessarily avoid change, but rather are so attuned to the world and its constant flux that they adapt effortlessly and naturally. Whether based on evidence or opinion, they pivot.

The stupid lack the capacity to learn and adapt, remaining stubbornly fixed in their ways even when they are wrong. There is no sense in arguing with them.

As for me, give me a minute—I need to think about it. It is time for some introspection and a chance to grow. And, I may need to admit I was wrong. Hate that.
